1. Introduction

The promoter of this competition is Comparify ("Promoter").
By participating in this giveaway, participants agree to these terms and conditions.
Personal information will be collected in line with the promoter's privacy policy and terms and conditions.

2. Eligibility

Entry is open to residents of Victoria (VIC), Queensland (QLD), Western Australia (WA), and Tasmania (TAS) aged 18 years and over.
Participants must either have an existing private health insurance policy or purchase a health insurance policy through Comparify during the promotional period to be eligible.
Participants are not required to pay any fee to enter the giveaway.
Employees and their immediate families of the Promoter and agencies associated with this promotion are ineligible to enter.
The competition is not available to residents of states that require a permit for this type of giveaway, such as South Australia.

3. Entry Requirements

The competition begins on July 5, 2024 8pm AEST, and ends on July 31, 2024 11:59pm AEST.
Participants can enter the competition only once by submitting their name, mobile phone number, email address, state, and current health fund via the landing page. All details must be completed via the form to be a valid entry.
To gain additional entries:
- Participants must compare their health insurance over the phone with one of our advisors, booked via the specific Calendly event "Win 1 Year Free Health Insurance" = 10 entries.
- Switching or purchasing a health insurance product through Comparify = 100 entries (additional entries are only applied once per person and will be revoked if the policy is canceled during the cooling-off period).

4. Prize

One (1) winner will have their health insurance premiums paid for the year of the policy they are on at the time of the draw.
The promoter will pay to the winner 12 months of their rebated (if the customer is claiming the Australian Government Rebate) private health insurance premiums.
The promoter will send the 12 months of their current charged monthly premium to their nominated BSB and Account number or pay it directly to the fund at the customer’s request.
The prize is non-transferable.
The approximate retail value of the prize can vary from $500 and to a maximum of $5,000 in South Australia

5. Winner Selection and Notification

The winner will be chosen at random from all eligible entries.
The draw will take place on August 5th, 2024 and be recorded. The recording may be posted on social media.
The winner will be notified via email and phone within 5 business days of the draw.
If the winner does not respond within 5 business days, the Promoter reserves the right to select a new winner.

6. Privacy

Personal information provided by participants will be used by the Promoter for the purposes of conducting this competition and future marketing.
The Promoter may use your personal information to contact you for other services unrelated to the promotion.
Participants consent to their information being used as described in the Promoter’s privacy policy.

7. General Conditions

The Promoter's decision is final, and no correspondence will be entered into.
The Promoter reserves the right to modify, suspend, or terminate the competition if necessary.
The Promoter reserves the right to change the competition rules and prize.
This promotion is subject to all applicable laws and regulations, including but not limited to the Australian Consumer Law.
The promotion must comply with Section 154 and Section 18 of the Australian Consumer Law, ensuring that the prize is awarded as advertised and no misleading or deceptive conduct occurs.
Participants agree to appear in the promoters marketing material if entering the competition.
